2024 Yearbook Art Contest: "A Rainbow of Possibilities"

Would you like to have your artwork featured in the 2023-2024 Fallsmead Yearbook? We are‬ inviting all Fallsmead Elementary School students to enter their artwork into our Art Contest- the‬ theme is “‭A Rainbow of Possibilities”. This theme compliments the fact that Fallsmead is‬‭ celebrating its 50th (Golden) anniversary!‬‭ The submissions will be featured inside of the‬‭ yearbook, with one art selection being displayed on the front cover.‬

Recess Volunteers Needed

Want to help promote positive social (or we can say prosocial) engagement at recess at Fallsmead? We need volunteers for our recess monitor volunteer program, which will be rebooted starting this October. Recess is a very important part of the school day, when students engage in exercise and play-based social interaction. As a recess monitor, you can help to make recess at Fallsmead a fun, safe experience for students. Please contact Marybeth Henry Gill for more information at recess@fallsmeadpta.org.

NEEDED: MORE PARENT VOLUNTEERS!

MCPS is allowing parents to volunteer in the school building, after they have completed a training module (2019 or later) and provided proof of COVID vaccination. Parents can volunteer in a number of ways, and really help support school staff! Click here for instructions on how to access and complete the training module.
